    Entry: El Clásico is the match that everyone marks on their calendars because it means the battle of the two most followed clubs in the world. On this occasion, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid arrived at the Camp Nou for Matchday 26 with the “Merengues” seeking to close the gap in points with 12 games to play in LaLiga.

    At ESPN we kicked off our broadcast with two pregame shows on all our platforms, Fuera de Juego (Spanish) and ESPN FC (English), so that anyone with internet access in the United States could enjoy our coverage.

    Soccer fans were also able to enjoy the game called in English by Ian Darke and analysis from Madrid legend, Steve McManama. In Spanish we had play-by-play from Fernando Palomo and our analyst, the former Spanish attacker of FC Barcelona and Liverpool, Luis García.

    In addition, we brought the passion of ElClásico to the fans in Los Angeles with a Watch Party organized by ESPN and LaLiga, where attendees had the opportunity to watch the game alongside Hugo Sánchez (Real Madrid's Mexican legend), Riqui Puig (former FC Barcelona and current LA Galaxy player) and Hérculez Gómez (former American soccer player).

    Entry: Telemundo’s presentation of the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023 marked the first time in U.S. television history the women’s competition is broadcasted in its entirety in Spanish and the most matches ever airing live on a U.S. broadcast network, regardless of language. In addition, the tournament was the first-ever Women’s World Cup on Peacock which streamed every match live July 20 through August 20.

    Telemundo completed its exclusive Spanish-language coverage of the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023™ with historic milestone wins across all platforms. Team USA led the success of the tournament, posting record-breaking viewership during the Group Stage, up 57% vs. 2019 held in France, highlighted by USA-Netherlands as the most-watched Group Stage Women’s World Cup match and second highest TAD ever in Spanish-language television history (only behind 2019 Final) with 1.5 million viewers. The game delivered the highest Women’s World Cup Average Minute Audience (AMA) on digital in Spanish-language history with 244,000.
