  • Sergio Busquets 'Maestro' Hype Video - Inter Miami CF

    Website: www.intermiamicf.com

    Staff Involved: Inter Miami CF

Entry: The Sergio Busquets 'Maestro' video was born from the admiration of football legends and coaches. We took a purist approach to connect deeply with discerning football fans who understand Sergio's significance to the sport. Known as the 'beautiful mind,' the 'professor,' and the ‘orchestrator of the game’, we focused our video on a live orchestral performance of our main Inter Miami supporters' anthem, 'Vamos a Cantar.' Collaborating with a local orchestra and director, we crafted an original rendition of our supporters' song, anchoring this announcement to our home, Miami.

This project boldly challenged conventional marketing strategies with an aim to highlight the grandeur he brings to the true football aficionado. We maintained a mysterious edge by withholding his face throughout the video and integrating subtle references in this 'performance.' By juxtaposing Busquets' playing clips with the orchestra's performance, we drew parallels between their profound impacts, appreciated only by ardent classical music enthusiasts or football fans.

The unparalleled video, concluded with Busquets’ message to the fans “Sí Miami, estamos listos” (Yes, Miami. We’re ready.), generated millions of impressions and views across our social media channels ahead of a highly-anticipated must-win rivalry match, which, of course, Inter Miami won.

Entry: Atlanta United and Delta Air Lines leaned into documentary-style content to capture the little moments that made each of the episodes’ journeys so special. With the partner integration woven organically throughout the series, it reimagined traditional sponsored content with storytelling that accomplished both Club and Partner goals.

This project began with Delta’s desire for content that showcased travel. From an Atlanta United perspective, we felt this would also be a good opportunity to create authentic connection points between fans and some new roster additions. Planning for the series kicked off when Atlanta United signed Greek forward Giorgos Giakoumakis and we understood how much pride he had in his roots. We created the idea of flying to Greece to meet his friends and family and bring them back to Atlanta to surprise him after a match. After a successful trip to Greece, we coordinated two additional videos in the series which included feel-good stories that involved travel to both Seattle and Dallas.
