Ana Caty is the Mexican national team reporter and has been part of historical transmissions for women in sports. In Liga MX she played the role of commentator on the first Women Only broadcast for Hispanic television in the United States "America vs. León.” She also was part of the first broadcast in a World Cup final narrated and commented only by women in Russia 2018. She has received numerous accolades for her work, including the Cynopsis Top in Media Game Changing On Air Talent and the Premios Produ Best Host and Sports Commentatory.
In addition to her work with TUDN Mexico and TUDN USA, she also serves as the lead host in the main morning show on Televisa, Por las Mananas con Genaro Lozano, in addition to hosting Contacto Deportivo and La Jugada.
At an early age, Ana realized she wanted to dedicate her life to cover sports, specifically soccer. She studied at the Tec de Monterrey University and obtained her degree in Media studies. Ana Caty was a semi-professional soccer player in Mexico as part of the Chivas women's team. Before starting her career on TV, she did Radio for two years while in college at TDW. She joined Univision Deportes as a reporter for Liga MX - America's team and the Mexican National Team. Her work took her to Miami to join the UDN talent team and became co-host of Contacto Deportivo. "El Diario de Ana Caty," gained great popularity among the audience of the USA and Mexico.
In addition to the daily tasks of the channel, she has covered events such as the Mexican finals, the CONCACAF Champions League finals, the NBA star finals, the Copa America, the 2017 Chilean confederations, Copa America Centenario and the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Ana has been covering Liga MX Femenil, was the co-host of Madruguete (the sports morning show) and continues to be the official Mexican National Team reporter.
