Dan Gargan
Dan Gargan is a former American professional soccer player with a decorated career spanning across multiple clubs. He is widely recognized for his remarkable 12-year career as a professional athlete across Major League Soccer, having played more than 200 games at the professional level. Gargan's playing career includes two-time Canadian Cup Champion (2010, 2011) with Toronto FC and played a pivotal role in winning the 2014 MLS Cup Championship with the LA Galaxy.
Currently, Gargan is the Vice President and Managing Director of Lou Fusz Athletic, a top-rated athletic program in St. Louis for young athletes. In this role, Gargan's responsibilities extend across the direction of all business operations and development of soccer, lacrosse, and football projects throughout the organization.
In addition to his remarkable professional sports background, Gargan has also made significant contributions to sports journalism as an on-air analyst for Spectrum SportsNet - LA, covering the LA Galaxy. He later took a position as the lead analyst for the 2017 MLS expansion club, Atlanta United FC.
Gargan's career started at Chestnut Hill Academy, where he helped win back-to-back Interacademic League championships in 2000 and 2001, was named All-State and team and league MVP. He also played for the Olympic Development Program Regional Team in 1998, 1999, and 2000 and played club ball for the strong FC Coppa team. Gargan then played college soccer at Georgetown University, where he scored 11 goals, assisted on 18, and captained the squad in both his junior and senior seasons while garnering team MVP honors.
In 2005, Gargan was drafted by the Colorado Rapids in the MLS Supplemental Draft, and he went on to play for the Colorado Rapids, San Jose Earthquakes, Chicago Fire and Toronto FC before signing with LA Galaxy in 2014, where he went on to win the 2014 MLS Cup.
