
Eligibility & Criteria
The SBMA’s are open to a wide range of individuals and organizations involved in soccer. Eligible participants may include media outlets, broadcasters, teams and leagues, individual journalists and content creators, marketing agencies, businesses, youth soccer organizations, educational institutions and more
Content must have been produced, published, or aired between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2023.
Entries can be submitted in English or Spanish or provide English or Spanish subtitles.
Content must be original work or have obtained the necessary rights and permissions for use.
Entrants must hold the necessary rights to submit the entry.
Eligibility:
Entrants must adhere to the category-specific criteria for each award. These criteria may include but are not limited to the scope, format, and duration of the program, the target audience, and the creative execution.
Creativity: Entries should demonstrate creative and original thinking in storytelling, visuals, sound design, and production.
Impact: Entries should have made an impact in the industry or for their intended audience.
Innovation: Entries should demonstrate new and innovative approaches to storytelling, technology, or production techniques.
Relevance: Entries should be relevant to the category they are submitted to and to the industry as a whole.
Authenticity: Entries should reflect an honest and authentic portrayal of their subject matter.
