Leslie Osborne
Leslie Osborne is a decorated and accomplished former professional and U.S. Women’s National Team who has served in an integral role to the growth of women’s soccer after her playing career. With a career spanning across various domains, Leslie's impact both on and off the field is commendable. As an international player, she earned 59 caps for the U.S. Women's National Team and participated in the 2007 World Cup, where she played in five out of six games and started in four, contributed to the team's success and earned her a bronze medal.
Leslie's journey in soccer started at a young age, playing with the U.S. National Team youth programs and earning her first call-up with the full team in 2003. Her talent and commitment were evident throughout her career, including winning a U-19 World Championship in 2002 and achieving 21 caps and four goals during her U-19 career. Leslie's exemplary performance extended to the college level, where she excelled as a forward and center midfielder. As a senior, she received the NCAA's prestigious Honda Award, recognizing her as the nation's top female athlete in soccer. With 44 goals and 34 assists, Leslie made a lasting impact at Santa Clara University, being named the WCC Player and Defender of the Year three times and receiving multiple All-American honors.
Beyond her playing career, Leslie Osborne's involvement in coaching, fashion, and community initiatives demonstrates her multifaceted dedication to the sport. Her experience, expertise, and extensive accomplishments make her an invaluable addition to the panel of industry-leading judges for the North American Soccer Business and Media Awards.
